What is "vtech" ?

Here at Castle Private Investigator's we are lucky to have a non-investigative team with an immense mechanical and electronics background. This background is built from a mixture of time-served auto technicians, motorsport team development roles and day to day general motor service work. Some staff have worked within the electronics and mechanical development sector of multi championship winning race and rally teams. So what has this to do with the investigation industry?
Within the government and services there lives a specialist branch that create and maintain the vehicles used by their operatives. These vehicles are maintained to the highest standard, packed to the brim with additional equipment that is designed to make the operating environment an extension of the operator rather than a hindrance. Castlevtech can now bring that luxury to the private market.

The daily workhorse

Unfortunately our vehicle can sometimes be over-looked. The early mornings, the late nights, often mean we just jump in and turn the key and until we are let down we do very little other than fill up the fuel tank. We can, via our vehicle technicians, offer a fast turnaround of mechanical assistance for most manufacturers and vehicle types, ranging from servicing and MOT tests through to major vehicle work.

Aesthetics

A main issue for surveillance operative vehicles is scrutiny from third party whilst on task. Whilst certain items cannot be hidden, or made to blend in, the majority of additional fit items can. Additional power systems for equipment can have additional outlets and wiring configured to suit the client, whilst remaining invisible to the untrained eye. Cables can be run in the current vehicle cable-ways and hidden from view, no more spaghetti junctions running across the dashboard. Power, data, audio and video capabilities can be provided at most locations throughout a vehicle whilst maintaining the original aesthetics of the original design.

Mechanical

We have performed a number of mechanical upgrades to our own and client's vehicles over the years. These include, but are not limited to; suspension modifications to help adapt to driving situations when the imbalance of weight distribution in a vehicle due to kit is to be considered, engine enhancements, clutch and brake upgrades, improved lighting systems.
